On BLACKFRIDAY CXRACING had a deal I could not refuse:

Did some research and apparently the few that bought this kit are very happy with it, performance and quality wise. I will be putting it to the test but since I don't need more then 8PSI from the turbo side as my boost is compounded and I only use my car 6 months of the year it should last a pretty long time. No point in Spending 3-4K on a turbo kit. I also got their 3" CAT back with the silencer removed it sounds pretty good:

Ebay got a bad rap from a lot of crap sold there but am convinced this kit is the best out there for the price and quality you get in return. Should have it in 2-3 days will take a video of all the parts to show everybody.

stay tuned...

Part are starting to arrive... Got the new SuperCharger intercooler and some mild steel 2.5" bends. According to Corky Bell in the book "supercharged!" the best intercooler setup is like this one. The best way to cool air is by having more channels then long channels which makes total sense.

So the small original Audi intercooler I used before will be moved to the turbo side to cool the turbo air before it enters the Supercharger. It looks like a dirty mess right now but everything will be removed cleaned and re-painted wrinkle black.

So right now am waiting for my ARP head studs, 60# siemens injectors and yes believe it or not ALL the turbo components are ordered. So it will be out with the Headers (for sale) and full exhaust (for sale) as I have a 3" full cat back on the way too..

Stay tuned it wont be long before i have the first Twincharged M20 started :)

last idle before twincharge project starts

last idle before twincharge project starts.

After reading a LOT...came down to the decision to have the turbo feed the Supercharger it is apparently the best way to compound boost. My only concern right now is If I compound the boost turbo(10PSI) and SC (10-12)PSI right now with my 7" crank pulley is I will get a total of 29PSI Which is a hell of lot. I want to stay in the 20PSI max so I will have to adjust the pulley on the charger and wastegate on Turbo. Compounding boost is pretty awesome you get to bring down the PSI on each to their (max efficiency) and get to use a pretty big turbo that will spool really quick because of the extra exhaust gas because the SC is blowing extra 1L of air.

Once the air compressed by the turbo it get even more compressed by the SC thats why it goes from total 20PSI (my example) to 29PSI in the engine.

SUCCESS!!

After much time spent building the MS box.... I ran into an issue where it would not connect to the PC com port...with a LOT of help from Keith "whodwho" on R3vlimited.com this guy knows his stuff.  I finally found the problem ..corrected the backword diode and voila !! ready to go!

Next is install the IAT into the intake, install new vaccum line to MAP sensor and start tuning!!

the tunerstudio software is AMAZING!! wow finally I can tune my car fully!!
